World History – Extra Credit assignment – Monday, Dec. 17, 2007 – 100 pts

Renaissance and Reformation Contributions – Choose one of the following artists, architects, religious leaders, etc. and create a collage of their work and write a biography of their life and contributions. The collage must be no larger than half of a poster board and the paper must be 400-500 words in length. The paper must be in your own words – NO cutting and pasting parts of websites.

Collage requirements – Must include: a portrait of the artist and at least two(2) visuals of the works of the artist. You may include more works by the artist but you may include other images as well but they must be related to the artist or the period of the Renaissance and Reformation.

Biography requirements – Must include a discussion of the life and works of the artist/figure. Also you must discuss how the person’s contributions were relevant/important to the time period as well as how would the world be different if the person never existed. You must include a rationale for the collage. Why did you choose these images? How do they reflect the key aspects of the time period?

Two references/citations are required. You must include a works cited page. If you use websites you must print the first page of each website and staple those to the back page of the biography.
